Shade Sail Maintenance
To maximize the performance of your shade sail, it is very important to care for it and maintain it well. Here are some pointers on how to properly care for your shade sail:
1.Check every so often if your shade sail is still installed properly. Make sure that your shade sail canopy is always always pulled tight and firm to lessen wind flaps. If you are unsure of its installation, seek the assistance of a professional shade sail installer.

The cold and moisture of the winter months can also cause the build up of mold and mildew on its surface. Use a low-pressure water blaster and a mild detergent when cleaning your shade sail, and avoid using industrial cleaning agents such as acids, abrasives, and alkaline cleaners.
7.Do not use the washing machine to clean your shade sail, and do not put it in the dryer to dry it. Doing so causes the fabric of your shade sail to break down easily.
